The Children’s Lab School is alive with adult learners studying Child Care and Development at Austin Community College. Through field work experiences in the Lab School setting, the students observe the principles of child development and gain practical experience with young children. Some students are observers. Other students assist teachers in the planning and implementing of the daily activities for the children. Background checks are submitted on all lab students. These students are supervised by the classroom teachers and faculty.
