Texas Rising Star Quality Rating Program

Earning college credits helps increase your value as an employee. Employers prefer to hire early childhood educators who have child development coursework and degrees. Employees with advanced knowledge in child development add to the quality of care for children. Under the Texas Rising Star program, eligible centers who meet certain criteria can get higher reimbursements based partially on the level of education attained by their staff.
