The Exercise Science program applicants do NOT have the requirements of immunization documentation and criminal background check in order to be accepted into the program to pursue either the certificate or Associate of Applied Science Degree. New applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Acceptance requires contact with the Department Chair.

Persons planning recreation and fitness careers should be outgoing, good at motivating people, and sensitive to the needs of others. Excellent health and physical fitness are required due to the physical nature of the job.
