Each year, approximately 12 to 16 students are accepted into the Exercise Science program to begin coursework in the Fall. Priority for acceptance is given to individuals who<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>can pursue either the <a href=\"https:\/\/education.austincc.edu\/exercise\/degrees-and-awards\/\">certificate or the AAS degree<\/a> as a full-time student<\/li>\n<li>have displayed academic success previous to applying to the program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Individuals desiring to complete the program as a part-time student will be granted available seating on a contingency basis. No entrance examination is required for enrollment in the college but some students are required to sit for an <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/support-and-services\/services-for-students\/testing-services\/tsi-assessment\">assessment or TSI exam<\/a><\/strong>. Students who need financial assistance should contact the ACC <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/support\/financialaid\/\">Financial Aid Office<\/a><\/strong>. The college offers a variety of grants, loans, work-study programs, and scholarships.
