Seats Available for non-exercise science majors in FITT 1401 Fitness and Exercise Testing, FITT 2301 Lifestyle Change for Wellness, FITT 2333 Fitness Industry Operations and Technology, and FITT 2331 Group Exercise Instruction. These classes use introductory books that are useful for preparing to sit for national exams as an ACE-CPT, ACE-Wellness Coach and ACSM-Group Exercise Instructor. ACC’s Exercise Science Program is nationally accredited upon recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES), 401 West Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
This is required by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

The program also provides the opportunity for professional development, general public education, and preparation for national exams. It incorporates material specific to national certification preparation for exams such as those offered by the American College of Sports Medicine (C-PT), National Strength and Conditioning Association (C-PT) and the American Council on Exercise (PT).
